Description
- Distribute stock and supply to customers in assigned categories, modify plans as supply conditions change, and inform the business of the impact on monthly target achievement rates.
- Facilitate the weekly constrained forecast review in cross-functional meetings, pointing out risks and opportunities affecting monthly achievement rates and proposing solutions for any gaps.
- Detect potential aged stock issues and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate customer POS data and forecasts to pinpoint availability concerns and provide support in resolving them.
- Participate in regular collaborative planning meetings with key customers to advise on order book changes, assess sell-out forecasts, and identify potential out-of-stock scenarios.
- Coordinate with Sales and Logistics to adjust demand periods in response to supply changes, ensuring consistency in the demand plan.
- Review customer order books to ensure they align with the allocation plan and highlight any shortages or over-orders.
- Ensure the integrity of the SAP IBP planning system by adhering to processes and maintaining master data accurately.
Profile
A successful Supply & Inventory Planner:
- Degree educated - Essential
- Experience in supply chain management
- Experience with SAP and Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
