An exciting opportunity has become available for a Supply & Inventory Planner in Leeds, who is responsible for the ensuring maximum availability for customers and optimum stock levels.

Client Details

The client is a well-established multinational FMCG company with UK headquarters in Leeds. With an employee base of over 5,000 individuals, it prides itself on consistently delivering high-quality products and services.

Description

  • Distribute stock and supply to customers in assigned categories, modify plans as supply conditions change, and inform the business of the impact on monthly target achievement rates.
  • Facilitate the weekly constrained forecast review in cross-functional meetings, pointing out risks and opportunities affecting monthly achievement rates and proposing solutions for any gaps.
  • Detect potential aged stock issues and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate customer POS data and forecasts to pinpoint availability concerns and provide support in resolving them.
  • Participate in regular collaborative planning meetings with key customers to advise on order book changes, assess sell-out forecasts, and identify potential out-of-stock scenarios.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Logistics to adjust demand periods in response to supply changes, ensuring consistency in the demand plan.
  • Review customer order books to ensure they align with the allocation plan and highlight any shortages or over-orders.
  • Ensure the integrity of the SAP IBP planning system by adhering to processes and maintaining master data accurately.

Profile

A successful Supply & Inventory Planner:

  • Degree educated - Essential
  • Experience in supply chain management
  • Experience with SAP and Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
