What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage the procurement of critical automotive parts and services using MRP systems to ensure production runs smoothly, on time, and within budget.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favourable terms while ensuring top-quality components.
- Expedite orders, resolve quality issues, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support production schedules and product launches.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and logistics teams to drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.
What We're Looking For:
- Expert Negotiator: Proven ability to secure the best deals while balancing quality, cost, and lead times.
- Analytical Thinker: Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and MS Project, with experience working in an MRP/ERP-driven environment.
- Problem Solver: A tenacious approach to resolving supply chain challenges and ensuring the highest levels of component quality.
- Desirable: Fluency in Mandarin, a valuable asset in managing relationships with global supplier
