Our client is a SME Group of businesses based in Grantham town centre.
Description
You will be working as part of a small finance team and will be reporting into the Finance Director who has progressed internally. Your duties will be extremely varied, and will include, but will not be limited to:
- supporting with producing profit and loss and balance sheet accounts for various companies
- bank reconciliations
- reconciling financial statements
- providing ad hoc analysis
- supporting with budgeting and forecasting
- intercompany accounts reconciliations
- fixed asset maintenance
- preparing accruals and prepayments
- VAT returns
- calculating commission payments
- purchase and sales ledger
- bookkeeping on Sage Line 50
Profile
To apply for the position, you do not need experience of all the above duties, as any necessary training will be provided, but it would be advantageous to have experience some experience of management accounts. However, you will:
- have experience of working in finance
- be able to use Excel
- be competent with double entry bookkeeping
- be able to work as part of a friendly and supportive team
- live within a commutable distance to Grantham
Job Offer
- a full time or part time position
- a salary between £26,000 and £32,000
- full study support for AAT, CIMA or ACCA
