hands-on Senior Electrical and Wiring Build Technician
to support the electrical department with
wire
harness assembly,
assembly of electronics, testing, fault finding and build support.
Job Description
- Build, maintain, service and test production level assemblies, following work instructions for safe and reliable assembly
- Carry out prototype and pre-production builds to assist in development of assembly processes/work instructions and to resolve issues prior to start of volume production
- Research/investigate new and appropriate technology/processes to enhance engineering capabilities
- Create and maintain build records during the build process
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Experience of working as an Engineering or Build Technician in an OEM, Tier 1 supplier, engineering consultancy or automotive environment
- Able to understand engineering drawings including schematics
- Experience diagnostic and fault finding on mechanical and electrical
