Values driven, charitable organisation based in Liverpool currently seeking an interim Head of HR & Payroll (remote role), to join their team on a 12-month FTC initially. An excellent opportunity for an experienced senior HR professional who possesses the ability to support the people team and overall organisation, with the roll out of the current strategic plans.

Reporting into the Chief People Officer, as Head of HR & Payroll, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of strategies and strategic objectives that align to the overall business objectives of the organisation and their ambition to positively impact more lives. Your focus will be on cultivating a positive work environment and driving organisational success through effective HR practices. The organisation has ambitious growth plans and a key focus on employee experience and EDI, seeking to ensure their organisation is a great place to work.

The successful candidate will have multiple years' experience at HR Manager/Head of HR level and will have previous experience formulating people related strategies and overseeing in a generalist capacity. It is essential the successful candidate also has experience overseeing the payroll function and team, ensuring that robust systems and processes are in place to effectively and efficiently administer monthly payroll in a timely manner.

What You Will Need

  • A minimum of five years' experience in a HR Management capacity.
  • Experience of formulating people related strategies and implementing related programmes of work.
  • Experience of leading and managing a team, supporting them to be the best they can be.
  • Evidence of planning and delivering multiple programmes and projects and services on time.
  • Experienced in effectively managing financial resources and budgets for projects.
