Job Title: Production / Warehouse Assistant
Location: Romsey, SO51 0HR
Salary: £22,500 per annum
Job Type: Full time (Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 5:30 with 1 hour lunch), Permanent
An exciting opportunity to join the BPC Energy manufacturing team.
BPC energy design and manufacture Uninterruptible Power Systems and emergency lighting systems. The UK facility in Romsey manufacturers single phase and three phase systems up to 30kVA and provides testing of all systems up to 500kVA.
Day to day duties will include:
- Making Cables, Pick and Packing of cable kits for projects
- Aiding the Warehouse team for packing pallets, labelling of goods
- Receiving goods in and processing paperwork
- Moving equipment for test engineers
- Aiding in small parts stock taking
- Aiding in spare parts stock taking and control
- Collating parts ready for production assembly of goods
- Keeping all areas of workshop and production areas clear of rubbish
- Emptying of bins and sweeping of production areas
- Aiding production when required

Training Provided:
- Forklift Training will be provided.
- Manual Handling and Health and Safety Training will be provided
Desired Skills
- Hard working and good time keeping skills
- Previous experience in similar role
- Good level of computing including a working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
Personal qualities:
- The candidate will work in a team framework but have the ability to keep to deadlines and also be able to work independently
- They should show attention to detail
Desired qualifications:
- 3 x GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above or equivalent.
