Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Administrator to support our data processing projects on a remote contract basis for 3-6 months. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years of relevant experience looking to expand their skillset in project coordination and data management.

The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and data teams to ensure the smooth operation of projects, focusing on data accuracy, reporting, and task coordination. Strong IT literacy and a keen eye for detail are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of data processing projects.
  • Maintain and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Perform data entry, validation, and quality control tasks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Support the creation of reports, summaries, and project documentation as required.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to communicate updates and track progress.
  • Monitor project workflows and escalate issues to project managers as necessary.
  • Use project management tools and software to track timelines and milestones.
  • Handle general administrative tasks, such as managing project correspondence and updating project databases.

Skills and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or project support role, or a recent graduate with relevant internship or project experience.
  • Strong IT literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Trello, Asana, MS Project) is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in handling and processing data.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience in a data-heavy environment is advantageous but not essential.
