This is an outstanding opportunity for someone from an engineering, manufacturing or similar background to utilise quality tools for approval and continuous improvements on supplier and internal products whilst defining policies. The role has come about due to the growth of the department.
The company is a leading design and manufacturer within the motorsports and defence sector offering solutions to recognised industry experts worldwide. They aim to ensure that the products they manufacture offer protection and safety to the elements around them.
The role involves working with suppliers and dealing with products using a lean methodology to improve quality, cost and performance. You will support new and existing products through quality control/inspection and process improvement. The role involves using tools such as APQP, 8D, FMEA and PPAP. You will deal with customers closely so good attention to detail and communication is required.
