My client are a Chartered independent wealth planning firm in Epsom Leatherhead who I have placed 2 staff with. They offer whole of market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families and SME owners based across Surrey, Sussex, Kent and London. In their current setup they manage the affairs of several hundred clients with assets ranging from £600k - £8m with £1.2m being their average case. The business offers advice on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protections (both personal and business) and some esoteric schemes such as VTC & EIS schemes. They have a big emphasis on intergenerational wealth planning and work with every level of a family to ensure their financial legacy is kept in tact.
The business places exceptional client service and satisfaction at the top of their priorities with a very high rate of client retention with some relations stretching back over 20 years. The Advisers are supported by a highly experienced team of pooled Administrators & Paraplanners who are actively encouraged to progress and develop as both professionals and individuals via ongoing CPD and industry exams.
The Managing Director is creating a brand-new role for a client facing Financial Administrator/Trainee Paraplanner to be based in the Leatherhead/Epsom office supporting a team of Chartered Financial Advisers. You will occasionally attend meetings with the Advisers and be their "go-to-person" for administration and basic report writing. You will be doing research, analysis and all preparatory work before the Advisers meet their clients for exploratory meetings or annual reviews. This role will suit a candidate who is studying towards their level 4 diploma. Cultural fit will be vital for my client so a good attitude, a willingness to learn and contribute to a growing business will be key.
Salary: £30k - £38k
