IT Technical Business Analyst

IT Technical Business Analyst, Manchester or Leeds, FTC

A global legal services provider is looking to hire an IT technical business analyst on a contract basis. The main purpose of this role is to work with business users in identifying requirements and analysing problems, with a view to designing and configuring legal processes and workflows.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing enhanced features and widgets and ensuring the deliverable meets exacting quality standards.
  • Configuring business processes in the Case Management System inclusive of phase plans, data and workflows.
  • Ensuring system enhancements and updates are tested and remain compatible with existing processes and systems.
  • Performing system analysis on software programs and applications.
  • Supporting the embedding of new systems and processes.
  • Working through the implementation lifecycle from initial requirements to testing and training.
  • Gathering high quality technical requirements that will improve the new IT services and identifying opportunities for new solutions.
  • Creating and managing the pipeline of investment requests by adhering to the governance framework for the services.
  • Supporting the document technicians with templates, data capture and workflow design.
  • Improving the end user experience, getting to the root cause of a problem.

Required skills and experience:

  • Strong communication skills and a passion for user experience.
  • Agile methodology.
  • Demonstrated technical business analyst experience, capable of delivering methodologies and solutions.
  • Ability to plan and facilitate workshops.
  • Successful end to end management of changes.
