SENIOR PRICING ANALYST

UP TO £60,000

REMOTE (or offices across the UK)

This is an exciting new opportunity to join the company's retail pricing team. You will be in charge of leading and coordinating research to improve retail pricing performance by optimising, generalised linear modelling, and non-linear methods to drive growth within the business.

THE ROLE

You will be doing the following daily:

  • Apply mathematical and statistical techniques, like optimisation, generalised linear modelling, and non-linear methods.
  • Build predictive models, using SAS, radar, and emblem.
  • Manage rate changes, through data encrichment, and implementation of new models and pricing algorithms.
  • Solve key company questions, through analysis and insight.
  • Oversee data translation into insights to drive advanced pricing strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally and take on project management responsibilities.
  • Seek ways to improve current systems and approaches pro-actively.
  • Have strong knowledge about the motor insurance market, and advise on strategy and customer behaviour within this niche.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in a data-focused role.
  • Knowledge of R, Python, or SAS is essential.
  • Knowledge of Radar is beneficial.
  • Experience in predictive modelling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong numerate degree from a Russel group University.
  • Previous pricing experience in the insurance space.
