Category Manager

We seek a polished professional with exceptional communication skills to join our client's expanding team as an Category Manager.

Your ability to effectively manage a dynamic workload, coupled with demonstrated experience in a similar role, will be integral to your success in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact, facilitating seamless communication channels with distributors
  • Proactively update distributors on stock availability, coordinate sample shipments, and ensure timely communication regarding stock expiration dates
  • Foster collaborative relationships with brand teams to capitalise on distributor opportunities across new product development, marketing initiatives, content creation, and asset provision for account support
  • Create NPD presentations
  • Maintain accuracy and relevance in range assortments and distributor pricing, ensuring timely updates
  • Address credit memo discrepancies by liaising with finance and accounts teams within respective brand entities
  • Engage with distributors to gather monthly market activity summaries, analysing sales and revenue data to identify growth opportunities
  • Provide assistance in contract management and updates as needed to support business objectives

  • Experience in supplier environments within the Beauty industry is desirable

Details:

Title: Category Manager

Salary: £32,000-£40,000

Location: Wokingham

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm (Hybrid working)
