Our client based in Hertfordshire, is a dynamic and fast growing international distribution business. Due to the continued growth of the company, we are looking for a full time Interim Finance Manager to work alongside the Finance Director. Ideally we would like an individual who could start immediately.
The scope of the role will include day to day management of company finances, timely and accurate management reporting and management of finance staff.
As Interim Finance Manager your main responsibilities will include:
- Accurate monthly production of Management Accounts for UK, France and Malaysia
- Clear and effective communication between internal and external stakeholders
- Manage month end process to include journals, prepayments, accruals, commission calculations; cashbook, fixed asset register and stock and corporation tax
- Monthly payroll
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable staff ensuring deadlines are met
- All statutory submissions are entered on time and right first time
- Maintain cashbooks and bank reconciliations. Raise non AP and salary payments.
- Management of staff to ensure accurate and timely processing of all supplier and customer transactions for the UK, French and Malaysian entities.
- Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts for UK, France and Malaysia
- Statutory Reporting - Quarterly VAT calculation and submission for UK
- Review and monitor skills matrix in the Finance area; review training records and areas for skills improvement; operate system of appraisals and feedback; encourage and motivate staff to achieve high service levels and promote continuous improvement
You will be a qualified by experience finance manager with exposure to the international environment.
