Our Twickenham based client are recruiting an Account Manager to join their friendly & sociable team. Salary up to £35,000, company profit share scheme, 24 days holiday with the option to purchase additional days and Christmas closure.
Job Specifications:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts
- Build thorough knowledge of customer product ranges and sales – historical and current.
- Ensure customer payment terms, discounts, delivery terms, rebates etc are included in customer cost price.
- Present analysis of seasons performance to Sales Director & Internal PP teams.
- Assist with information prep and support the KAM as directed for customer meetings
- Confirm final customer order (quantities, dates, factories etc) to internal teams
- Set up and manage Cost Negotiation Sheet
- Check customer PO's and factory PI's match agreed pricing, quantities, critical dates and carton quantities/sizes) (shared responsibility with logistics and production)
- Collate mass samples and arrange product/range photography with Sales Support
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Ability to work well with other team members to develop suitable commercial product solutions for buyers
- Keen eye for numbers and maximising profit
- Cost negotiation skills
- Planning & Prioritising
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite, particularly Excel
