What you'll be doing...

We are currently recruiting for our next Chef/Cook Manager to join our Catering Team at Deansfield Court Malton, York. As Chef Manager you will proactively manage the catering team on site as well as be accountable for recruiting, inducting, training, and supporting colleagues to deliver an efficient, high-quality service to Elior UK, our customer and clients. This hours are day time only proving a lunch service for the residents at Deansfield Court so the role offers an excellent work/life balance

Responsibilities:

  • Motivating and managing a team of 6 (5 x General Assistants & 1 x 2nd Chef)
  • Preparing and cooking a lunchtime service for our residents at site
  • Controlling and managing a budget
  • Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence
  • Accountable for weekly stocktakes
  • Responsible for weekly orders

Working Pattern: 5 days over 7, 7:30am - 3:00pm, 37.5 hours per week, day time only shifts
