Sales Support Associate - Lead Generation Consultant

Birmingham based, hybrid working (3 days on the office)

Base Salary to £32,500 DOE

Bonus arrangement for exceeding target

## Overview

Our Client, a significant commercial insurance broker, are seeking a proactive and customer-oriented Sales Support Associate to join their dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will assist in lead generation, appointment setting, and maintaining CRM data to support the sales representatives in achieving their targets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about contributing to the success of a sales team and providing exceptional support to clients.

## Responsibilities

  • Conduct lead generation activities to identify potential customers and decision-makers
  • Arrange and schedule appointments for the external team with prospective clients
  • Update and maintain customer relationship management (CRM) database with accurate and relevant information
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks, such as preparing sales proposals and reports
  • Communicate with customers to provide product information and gather feedback
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment of sales efforts with marketing strategies

## Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a sales support or customer service role, with absolute comfort in using the telephone to prospects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a professional manner
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales support tools
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative in supporting the sales team
  • A team player who can collaborate with different departments and contribute to a positive work environment

## Day-to-day

  • Identify and qualify potential leads through various sources
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with potential clients for the external team. The target is to arrange at least one appointment per day
  • Input and update customer information in the CRM system to maintain accurate records
  • Assist in responding to customer inquiries and providing necessary support to the sales team
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth coordination of sales support activities
