Electronics Repair Technician - Hessle, East Yorkshire

Salary: £24,500 per annum
Hours: 8 AM - 4 PM, Monday to Friday
Overtime: Available with additional compensation

The Company: A leading manufacturing company in Hessle, East Yorkshire, known for innovative solutions and exceptional after-sales service. Currently seeking a skilled Repair Technician to join the dynamic Aftersales Team.

The Role: As a Repair Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our product offerings. Your tasks will include:

  • Analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing products returned by customers.
  • Disassembling and reassembling complex electromechanical assemblies, following standard procedures and assembly drawings.
  • Aligning optical components to meet precise specifications.
  • Testing products using diverse equipment to ensure functionality.
  • Adhering to health and safety policies, maintaining a secure and orderly workspace.
  • Developing and following work instructions, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Managing multiple tasks and prioritising effectively.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Individuals with electronic or electrical experience, proficient in using hand tools and soldering.
  • Candidates who can interpret complex assembly drawings and circuit diagrams.
  • Problem-solvers with a knack for creative and practical analysis.
  • Those who maintain a quality focus and can make decisions under pressure.
  • Experience in testing and repairing electronic systems to the component level is ideal but not mandatory.
