Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to join our dynamic team starting in September. The ideal candidate will have a passion for inspiring young minds and a strong background in DT. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that engage students and foster a love for design and technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging DT lessons to students of varying abilities.
  • Utilise our industry-leading equipment to provide hands-on learning experiences.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the DT curriculum.
  • Maintain a safe and well-organized classroom and workshop environment.
  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience in teaching Design and Technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
