Billing Analyst

Our client, a global leader in entertainment, is seeking a dedicated and professional Billings Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be part of a global accounting solution delivered by shared service centres around the world. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with basic accounts knowledge, experience in large complex organisations, and excellent organisational and time-management skills.

As a Billings Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our client's operations. Your primary responsibilities will include creating and distributing accurate receivable transactions, creating billing backing schedules from source data, releasing orders in line with agreed procedures, and adhering to policies including the framework. You will also undertake other duties as required. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to solve problems effectively

Key duties include:

  • Creation and distribution of accurate receivable transactions (invoices and credit notes) within the finance system from key source records
  • Creation of billing backing schedules from source data, validating and reconciling to other systems
  • Order release and control in line with agreed procedures
  • Adherence to policies and procedures, including regulatory framework
  • Other duties that may be required from time to time

The ideal candidate for the Billings Analyst position brings a range of skills and experiences. You will have basic accounts knowledge coupled with experience working in large complex organisations. Your familiarity with large ERP systems will be beneficial in this role. As a self-starter, you are known for your problem-solving abilities. Your meticulous attention to detail sets you apart, as does your excellent organisation and time-management skills.
