Job Description:
Are you an experienced social worker with strong leadership skills and a passion for supporting families?
In this role, you will oversee the delivery of services, manage a dedicated team of professionals, and ensure that families receive the support they need to improve their lives.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the Families First team in Shildon & Chilton, providing supervision, guidance, and support to team members.
- Overseeing the assessment and intervention processes to ensure that the needs of families are accurately identified and met.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and community organizations to coordinate and deliver effective support.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of services, making adjustments as needed to meet the needs of families.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in a social work role, with significant experience in a leadership or management position.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, families, and professionals.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and family services.
