Our client is a growing business with offices across the globe. They have a new permanent requirement at their Oxford office for a Finance Manager.
Reporting directly into the MD, typical duties will be to:
- Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth.
- Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making.
- Produce month end and year end journals.
- Preparing and posting journals for accruals, prepayments, accrued income and deferred income.
- Prepare statutory and management accounts.
- Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process.
- Manage capital expenditure.
- Maintaining Fixed Asset Register, accounting for depreciation and disposals.
- Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
- Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Accountability for cash flow and production of forecasts.
- Review company assets and liabilities.
- Assisting with external annual audit.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for all accounts.
- Assessment of monthly expenses.
- Calculation, presentation and payment of VAT.
- Production of relevant commercial analysis e.g. margins and pricing.
- Assist with Group management accounts.
- Assist with and report on international currency transfers and business impacts due to multinational currency transactions.
Candidate that apply should ideally be qualified, with all round accounting experience in a smaller business. You must have strong attention to detail, possess excellent communication skills with the ability to business partner. You should be a committed team player with good systems skills.
On offer is a salary of between 45-55k plus bonus, benefits and hybrid working.
