Business Development Manager - Service / Contracts Team

This established M&E contractor have an impressive heritage, with their growth over the last 10 years further cementing their position as one of the UKs leading M&E specialists. With their growth strategy very much on track they are looking to add a Business Development Manager to help drive forward the service / contracts aspect of the sales team.

You will be joining a business that delivers on its values, where staff retention and development are at the heart of the business and where you will be given the support and opportunity to develop.

You will also be well rewarded with a salary of up to £45,000 with an OTE of £60,000; a choice of company car or car allowance; cash plan healthcare, life assurance and pension, together with industry leading training and development.

What's the job?

Concentrating on service side of the business you will be responsible for:

  • Building strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Establishing customer needs
  • Able to identify potential opportunities
  • Working closely with the sales team
  • Keeping internal systems updated
  • Attending customer meetings

What skills do you need?

You will already be working with a sales related role; you will also need:

  • Experience within a contracts / service based sales environment
  • Excellent time management skills
  • First class account management skills
  • Confident IT skills
