Travel consultant- South American specialist
Travel consultant required with South American travel knowledge for specialist tour operator to work from home.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced travel consultant who would
Like to specialise and has Latin American destination knowledge either from a tour operator background, travel reservations or a retail travel background who is passionate about selling South American trips.
As a Latin American specialist, you will:
- Build travel itineraries around flights, accommodation tours and ground arrangements
- Provide excellent service whilst building relationships with your customer the travel agent, gaining repeat business
- Provide specialist, ideally firsthand knowledge of Latin America to your agents
- Administer your own agents' bookings with attention to detail and dealing with suppliers
As a Latin American travel consultant, you will have:
- Experience of working in a travel agency, tour operator or travel reservations call centre.
- Specialist knowledge in the destination of Latin America with knowledge of tours or sights to see there.
- Sales experience from a travel background
- Excellent customer service skills
Extra info:
- Hours of work are mon - fri 9am - 5.30pm
- Salary is £26-30k plus incentives following a successful 6-month probation
- This is a homeworking role, but you must be able to attend team meetings in the Cheltenham area 8 times a year.
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
- 1 x fam trip per year following probation period
