I am actively recruiting an AAT or ACCA Studying Accounts Trainee for a well-established 5 Partner accountancy practice with around 25 members of staff based in Central London.

They have a wide service offering and an exciting and broad range of clients including recruitment, shipping, finance, retail, and the architectural sectors. They also have some celebrity clients within the music and entertainment industries.

What will this Accounts Trainee Role entail?

  • Working with a varied clients base with turnovers primarily between £2M - £10M
  • Accounts and corporation tax work (40%), audit work (30%), bookkeeping (20%), statutory/admin work (10%).
  • Preparing statutory accounts
  • Preparing corporate tax returns
  • Bookkeeping
  • Assisting with audit engagements
  • FRS102 and FRS1021A reporting standards.
  • Audit Software - CCH, and Accounts Software - Iris

The firm is sociable, relaxed, and friendly. Trainees are typically studying ACCA and are offered £2k per year towards their studies which they can tailor to their own needs, booking courses which suit them, and sitting papers at their own pace. They can also support AAT.

The audit and accounts department's team of Trainees are friendly and sociable and enjoy working together in the office. This role will offer you exposure to audit, accounts and tax service lines and enable you to develop into a well-rounded Qualified Accountant.
