SEMH Teaching Assistant

Position: Nursery Assistant
Location: Southampton
Type: Day to day supply

Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a positive impact on young lives? We are looking for dedicated and nurturing Nursery Assistants to TimePlan Education in Southampton working in schools and nurseries across the city.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day care and supervision of children aged 0-5 years
  • Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Support children's personal, social, and emotional development

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with young children
  • Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Patience, creativity, and a caring attitude
  • Relevant childcare qualifications (desirable but not essential)
