Job Summary
We are seeking a technical sales estimator to join a dynamic team within the sheet metalwork/engineering division.
Responsibilities
- Analyse technical drawings, specifications, and other documentation to accurately assess requirements.
- Prepare cost estimates, considering factors such as material, labour & finishing costs
- Collaborate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
- Participate in client meetings to discuss existing and new projects.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, pricing data, and project documentation.
- Working closely with key personnel for prototype and development works.
Requirements
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programmes.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in AutoCAD or similar.
- Previous sales experience in sheet metalwork, fabrication or engineering.
