Position; Marketing Executive & Content Creator
Location; Abingdon, Milton Park
Salary; £25,000 - £30,000 pro rata, part time.
Our client, an award winning business, are looking to add to their Marketing department. The company offers excellent training, employee engagement and fantastic oppurtunities. They are looking for someone within a marketing background who can hit the ground running within their team and offer support to the marketing team.
The role;
This is a newly created role. Supporting the Head of Marketing, you will join a small yet productive marketing team;
Main responsibilities;
- Creating video marketing content primarily but also repurposing content for text-based marketing
- Helping develop video marketing strategy. We're not looking for standard content. We want to stand out and are happy to create fun and different videos.
- Publishing content on our website and social media channels - LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube.
- Working closely with the Head of Marketing and other members of the team to develop content ideas and production.
- You will also be required to input into other marketing activities such as event management, digital marketing activity and internal communications.
Video content will include:
- Client case studies
- Company culture videos
- Explainer videos
- Thought leadership & educational content
- Company Event Videos - internal & client events
- Promotional videos for our services as well as event promotion.
About you;
This will be a busy and varied role so our ideal candidate will be bright, energetic, flexible and highly organised.
This will be a part time job, 2-3 days per week (negotiable) and will evolve into a hybrid role. At first, you will be office based but pretty quickly the working week can be flexible. We have an office in Abingdon, one in Oxford and a lot of the team work from home
Required;
- Ability to learn on your feet. Training will be provided but there will be a lot of on-the-job learning.
- Strong communication skills
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Experience in Microsoft Office - especially Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Experience with other design software and a history of creating visual content.
- Digital media savvy - we are active across multiple channels so you will need to feel comfortable engaging our audience online. This includes our website, social media platforms and on email.
