A fantastic new opportunity has become available for Business Application Analyst with one of our Financial Services clients based in London.

Role: Business Application Analyst

Location: London (5 Days week Onsite)

Duration: 6 Months

Status: Inside IR35

Rate: Circa £350/Day

Support and Administer Business and Trading Applications on the trading floor used by the Capital Markets in EMEA.

Experience and Skills required:

  • Maintain, Monitor and Develop Business Applications and Systems on the trading.
  • Experienced within network, firewalls and SFTP protocol.
  • The principal point of contact for the support, maintenance and enhancement of the trading floor Business Applications and Systems.
  • Manage all software development life-cycle environments of the trading floor Business Applications and Systems.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for all aspects of the trading floor Business Applications
  • Liaise with other technical teams (Server group, Network group, Application group, Market Data System team, IT Security group, Voice group) to participate in projects, ABCD, TPRM, ASRA, AGC, Packaging, QA/REL, UAT, Change Management and roll-out of new trading floor Business.
  • Application products and software.
  • managed trading floor Business Applications, Application servers are updated, and the latest security patches are applied on a regular schedule.
  • Assist IT Security, Audit and Compliance groups for the trading floor.
  • Business Applications and Systems related queries and solutions.
  • technical documentation is created, maintained, is to an appropriate level of detail, and reflects the live production environment.
  • tickets recorded in the organisation's fault reporting system are updated with enough narrative to provide a complete history of activity leading to its conclusion.
