We are seeking a dedicated Right to Buy Officer to join our Home Ownership Service team within a local authority. This role is an ongoing temporary booking, offering a hybrid working model based in Catford. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support and manage correspondence related to the Right to Buy process.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage all correspondence within the Home Ownership Service efficiently and professionally.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and updating of leaseholders' and Right to Buy applicants' information.
  • Assist with the production of service charge statements and bills, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Maintain an effective customer care approach, ensuring all interactions are handled with professionalism and empathy.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation affecting home ownership and Right to Buy processes.
  • Participate fully in team working, contributing to a culture of continuous performance improvement and collaborative problem-solving.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably within a housing or local authority context.
  • Familiarity with the Right to Buy process and related legislation.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using standard office software and databases.
