We are seeking a dedicated Right to Buy Officer to join our Home Ownership Service team within a local authority. This role is an ongoing temporary booking, offering a hybrid working model based in Catford. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support and manage correspondence related to the Right to Buy process.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage all correspondence within the Home Ownership Service efficiently and professionally.
- Carry out routine maintenance and updating of leaseholders' and Right to Buy applicants' information.
- Assist with the production of service charge statements and bills, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Maintain an effective customer care approach, ensuring all interactions are handled with professionalism and empathy.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation affecting home ownership and Right to Buy processes.
- Participate fully in team working, contributing to a culture of continuous performance improvement and collaborative problem-solving.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven administrative experience, preferably within a housing or local authority context.
- Familiarity with the Right to Buy process and related legislation.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using standard office software and databases.
