Working for an award-winning logistics business who offer tailor-made, fast, reliable and cost-effective shipping solutions. Our client is seeking a Site Officer to assist the General Manager and Team Leader in maintaining the safety, security and integrity of the site.
The shift patterns are 4-on/4-off rotational 12-hour shifts (days and nights)
General duties to include:
- Monitoring CCTV cameras, site patrols, controlling all entrance and exit barriers, keeping records of and monitoring all vehicles entering the site
- Customer intervention where required
- Parking of vehicles to ensure maximum utilisation of the truck park
- Maintain safe environment for customers, visitors, and staff alike
- Processing payments from all customers and the updating of computer records
- Welcome customers and visitors to the site in accordance with company procedures
- Any other task set by the truck park management or directors of the business
Key Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience not essential but would be advantageous
- A background within a site based/signalling/traffic marshal role would align nicely to this position
- Alert and focused
