Directed Local: 32.43hrs, 195 days on site, 1265 hours per year

Salary: Qualified Teachers – (T1) £35,125.00 to (T9) £51,758.00 per annum (depending on experience)

Unqualified Teachers - (UNQ1) £30,721.97 to (UNQ4) £33,173.60 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: Prince Regent Lane - East London

We are looking to appoint a permanent full-time Teacher of Chemistry within our Science team. This role would join our team to deliver across a range of our programmes

In Science, we offer a wide range of curriculum in chemistry covering A-level Chemistry (OCR), Level 3 vocational science and GCSE Science (AQA).

The chemistry team regularly takes part in the national Cambridge Chemistry Challenge. Students are taught in mixed ability groups and the majority progress to university.

The science team is equipped with 7 science laboratories across all courses and 2 preparation rooms, with a team of technicians who will work with you inside and outside of the classroom.

You will hold an Honours Degree in a related subject. You will also hold or be willing to obtain a recognised teaching qualification. Relevant experience in teaching 16-18 year olds up to at least level 3 is desirable. You will be used to maintaining professional and quality standards and keeping high quality documentation.
