This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company that places the 'Green' agenda at the heart of its business. As an Internal Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting and developing our existing portfolio, including two of the largest national distributors and key end users, as well as driving new business with innovative products like self-destruct cups and home compostable cutlery.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop relationships with existing customers to identify sales opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling.
  • Generate new business by contacting lapsed and new customers to reintroduce products and services.
  • Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and close sales.
  • Work closely with and support the Head of New Business to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Coordinate orders and deliveries to ensure customers receive their orders on time and in full.
  • Promote marketing campaigns and product initiatives.
  • Keep customer and market data updated and report on customer feedback.
  • Handle inbound sales calls and inquiries.
  • Send out sample requests and follow them up for feedback.
  • Cover other members of the sales team as and when required.
  • Carry out administrative tasks to support your customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in outbound sales and account management with a focus on business development.
  • Strong ability to build and grow profitable customer relationships.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for sales.
  • Confidence, resilience, and the ability to spot upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Good educational background with a high degree of accuracy and an eye for detail.
