Elevation Senior Finance are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis for a manufacturing and service-based business in Sheffield as they look to bring a Management Accountant into the finance team.

This Management Accountant role will be located at their head office in Sheffield. They are an owner managed business, operating successfully for over 25 years and have multiple locations across the UK. Turnover is approximately £15 Million.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be varied and will ultimately see the successful candidate taking on full responsibility for the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing 2 staff members
- Preparing Monthly Management Accounts (inc balance sheet reconciliations)
- Variance analysis
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Reconcile intercompany transactions
- Sales reporting
- Maintaining fixed assets
- Process monthly payroll and oversee weekly payroll (all aspects)
To be successful you will have the following skills and experiecne: -
- Ideally CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified (Qualified by experience will also be considered)
- Experience of supporting the month-end process
- Strong analytical skills
- Good organisational skills
