Job Title: IT Desktop Technician

Salary :£40k -£45k Plus benefits

Location: Blackfriars

Providing exceptional first and second-line support to our business users. IT Desktop Technician who has held a similar IT position and has gained experience in support of IT. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and self-motivated individual who can quickly adapt to our environment and begin contributing immediately.

Desktop Support involvement:

?To provide 1st and 2nd line support to users in the business.
?To work on a range of hardware support - including computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
?Working with the other members of IT team along with the senior management team to understand the upcoming needs and requirements of the IT function.
?Provide remote support for WFH users and staff based in regional offices.
?Using software skills - including but not limited to Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Autodesk.
?Assist system builds/software installations and configuration.
?IT asset management of all IT inventory.
?Supporting other team members to resolve issues.
?Conducting Onboarding and Offboarding of Starters and Leavers.
?Troubleshooting: diagnosing and testing issues raised concerning hardware and software and escalating calls to appropriate individuals/companies.
?Produce and maintain documentation on systems and procedures for the benefit of the IT team.
?Provide technical and functional support on applications, portals, software, and support for all products/ equipment implemented in the business.
?Supporting devices and users on a Windows network comprising of Windows Computers and laptops, Active Directory.
?Deploy computers/laptops and devices to users and provide maintenance when required to ensure continuity of day-to-day business.
?Manage security of information as defined in the Security protocol.
?Help to ensure the company's systems align with industry-related accreditations such as Cyber Essentials certification', GDPR and any other regulations required. Create, monitor and report on cumulative summary spreadsheets.
?Assist in ad-hoc tasks and projects when required to support the operation of the
Blackfriars office.
?Assisting with Software Deployments and Updates across the organization (Autodesk, Adobe, Microsoft other misc. applications).
?Assisting with Administration of the 365 Suite (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra)
