Milk Education are working with a primary school in L9 who are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work with children in Year 4 class to support a child with ADHD. This SEND Teaching Assistant job is full-time.

The role of an SEND Teaching Assistant is to work with a child on a one to one basis or support them within small or whole class groups, acting as a listener, encourager, motivator and role model.

Your role & responsibilities:
- Be able to build and maintain positive relationships
- Work within a classroom with students who have a variety of complex needs
- To help in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources including adjusting in classroom layout
- Be passionate about achievement for every child and committed to ongoing professional learning.
Non-negotiables:
- Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
- Have experience of working with SEN / additional needs and/or similar setting
- Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
- Offer drive, kindness, enthusiasm, imagination, and commitment.
