Audit Assistant Manager - Mandarin Speaker
Ambition is currently partnering with a mid-tier audit firm seeking an Audit Assistant Manager for their Asia/China Desk.
Role Overview: Join a friendly team and gain exposure to a diverse range of clients, from large listed corporates to privately owned companies. You'll play a crucial role in advising smaller clients lacking structured processes, while also working with major corporates and listed businesses, including FTSE, LSE, and AIM clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Assignment Preparation
- Attend pre-assignment discussions with the audit team.
- Allocate work to junior team members.
- Provide on-the-job training, review work, and offer feedback.
- Plan and budget assignments.
- Advise the manager and suggest solutions to problems.
- Prepare detailed assignment memoranda with analytical reviews.
- Clear manager and partner review points and follow up on queries.
- Respond to client queries efficiently and professionally, engaging with senior management as needed.
- Offer business advice and demonstrate industry knowledge.
- Analyze time charged on assignments to aid billing and future planning.
Requirements:
- ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent.
- External auditing experience, particularly with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
- Experience with statutory audits and half-year review engagements in compliance with UK Auditing Standards, from planning to completion.
- Proven experience auditing listed clients.
- Fluent in Chinese/Mandarin.
- Right to work in the UK.
