Qualifications:
- Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance and a demonstrable passion for web development and software engineering.
Technical Skills:
- Fundamental knowledge of Python and Django for web application development.
- Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Basic proficiency in working with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
Professional Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Technical Skills:
While not mandatory, experience or coursework in the following areas would be advantageous:
- Progressive Web Applications (PWA)
- Advanced HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
- Google Chrome OS development
- Database management systems including MongoDB and MySQL
- Familiarity with tools such as Bitbucket, Jira, PyCharm, WebStorm
- Experience or interest in eLearning software, learning management systems, SCORM, and xAPI standards
