QA Engineer

Join the Innovative Medtech Industry as a QA Engineer, working on a Fully Remote basis (UK).

The Business is seeking an experienced and dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join their Fully Remote Team. As part of this High Growth MedTech disruptor, you will be responsible for ensuring that products comply with regulatory standards while maintaining high-quality control measures.

QA Engineer Position - Fully Remote (UK) - Up to £60,000 + Benefits

Just to be clear, this role will start out as a Manual Test Engineer role and transition into an automated test engineer role over the space of a year with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test scripts to ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and design test strategies.
- Utilise Jira and Confluence for bug tracking, test case management, and documentation.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on web applications built with C# and React.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Write clear and concise user documentation and training materials.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and provide input on quality and usability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in QA processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Technician or similar role in software testing.
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
- Experience preferred with C#, and React (Ideally, not essential).
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience writing and executing test scripts and user documentation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the healthcare software industry.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Any high growth start-up experience
