Location: Blackburn
This position is available for a band 6 biomedical scientist who specialises in cellular pathology
Start date: ASAP-6 month contract
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday, 9:00-17:00
Hours: Full time (37.5hrs/week)
Job description:
- Performs a range of routine and specialist cellular pathology activities on cellular pathology specimens, troubleshooting as necessary
- Maintains accurate clinical records in relation to activities carried out
- Supervises and actively trains less experienced staff
- Actively participates in Quality Management processes
