Our client, a world leader in their field, are looking for a process driven, detail-orientated Quality, Environmental and Safety Manager who can work autonomously to ensure that their site operates in a safe manner. You will be proactive and will carry out internal audits to ensure that the business remain compliant with IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 standards.
The QESM will also be responsible for developing initiatives on how to improve policies, procedures, safe systems of work, as well as offering support and advice on Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH.
Proven experience working in a similar role in the manufacturing industry is essential, coupled with a personable nature and effective, clear communication skills as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You will also need:
- IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
- Working knowledge of IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001
- Advanced usage of Office Suite
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Project management
- Commitment to leading and working as part of a team.
