Overview:
A mission-driven health and well-being company is seeking a Head of Growth Marketing and Trading to lead its performance-driven growth function. This is a high-priority hire that sits at the intersection of marketing, trading, and commercial strategy. The business is scaling rapidly and needs a sharp, commercially-minded operator who can drive acquisition while also owning revenue performance and pricing strategy. The Role:
This is a hybrid leadership role combining Performance Marketing, Trading/Pricing, and Strategic Growth. You will be responsible for managing external agencies and building an internal performance team, including functions such as paid social, performance media, CRM, and potentially retention. Reporting into senior leadership, you'll act as the growth engine of the business — owning core metrics, building infrastructure, and leading across both strategic and tactical levels.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and scale the performance marketing function (both agency and in-house) across paid channels
- Have a hand in trading and pricing strategy, and how this feeds in to performance marketing, to drive revenue growth and profitability
- Act as commercial lead across performance channels, with ownership of P&L and key business levers
- Manage agency relationships (paid media, CRM/email, SEO, affiliates)
- Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to track customer acquisition, CAC, LTV, and payback
- Bring clarity to pricing, margin, performance, and trading performance
- Develop internal processes and playbooks to futureproof growth infrastructure
- Potential to take on retention, subscriptions, as the role evolves
Requirements:
- 5+ years in growth or performance marketing within high-growth DTC, e-commerce, marketplaces, or financial services
- Proven experience owning a P&L and leading trading or pricing decisions
- Commercially sharp with strong analytical rigour — ideally from consulting (MBB), investment banking (e.g. JPM/GS), or top-tier DTC growth environments
- Demonstrated ability to hire, lead, and scale high-performing marketing or growth teams
- Strong cross-functional leadership and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Education from a top-tier institution preferred
- Confident with ambiguity, able to think from first principles, and thrive in fast-paced settings
Location:
Hybrid London based. Remote, relocation or travel support may be considered for exceptional UK-based candidates
Salary:
£100,000 – £150,000 per annum base + equity
