One of the largest international law firms in Leeds has an opening available for a talented newly qualified solicitor who can show previous experience of infrastructure, energy and/or real estate-related transactional (non-contentious) construction work. They would also be willing to consider applications from candidates that have excellent commercial contracts experience and who have an interest in taking their legal career in a different direction.
My client's team deal with a wide range of complex infrastructure projects, assist with conventional power generation issues, advise on large-scale offshore wind projects and also advises on high-value development projects. Ultimately, the successful candidate will have the opportunity of exposure to both construction and projects work, so therefore candidates with a keen and demonstrable interest in this area will be of particular interest.
An excellent level of academic achievement is essential for this role and my client is particularly interested in candidates who have trained at large-scale commercial firms or who have experience within an in-house legal team or a local authority.
