Seven Resourcing are currently looking for a Community Premises Officer to work within Southwark. The purpose of the role is to provide expert quality assessment of repairs and maintenance works to community premises and tenants and residents' association (TRA) halls through use of specialist skills and knowledge, to deliver technical support and contract management of the repairs and maintenance contract.

Rate:This role is paying £32.29 per hour.
Hours: 36 hours per week. Monday - Friday.
Essential Experience:
- Understanding of issues around the delivery of maintenance contracts in an urban environment.
- An understanding of construction and maintenance related contracts.
- Understanding of relevant legislation and codes of practice, Health and safety (Building regulations, fire safety (means of escape) and asbestos.
- Understanding of landlord and tenant matters, leaseholder consultation requirements and contract dispute and resolution.
- HNC Building studies or equivalent, or be working toward that qualification or have extensive appropriate experience.
- Experience of dealing with the public, resolving queries or giving advice.
- Experience of diagnosing complex building defects and producing specifications for repairs.
- Experience of managing contractors in a repairs and maintenance environment.
