The role in a nutshell...

This role carries responsibility for the delivery of timely and accurate reporting of KPI metrics to the UK business, providing regular pricing availability updates & co-ordination of promotional activity from a pricing/discount perspective. You will also be involved in competitor analysis & data integrity within the current Business Information Systems.

This role requires close working relationships across all areas of the business to ensure everyone is fully conversant with the current sales trends, offers and pricing levels, and that any changes are communicated effectively. It is ideal for a Commercial Analyst with 2-3 years' experience to join a fast paced, ever changing and growing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Net Revenue Optimization: Identify and capitalise on opportunities to enhance net revenue and profitability at both global and market levels.
  • Data Analysis and Recommendations: Analyse data to make informed recommendations on pricing, promotions, global guest sourcing, occupancy maximisation, and revenue optimisation.
  • Market Strategy: Develop strategic and tactical responses to market changes, inventory needs, and overall revenue management strategy, with projections on their potential impact.
  • Policy and Sales Optimisation: Recommend market policies, payment terms, and sales conditions to improve booking curves and prevent retroactive revenue loss.
  • Analytical Tool Management: Maintain, optimise, and create analytical tools to track demand trends and booking curves by market, cabin, channel, and key segments.
  • Performance Reporting: Produce daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports. Prepare weekly presentations highlighting key focus areas and insights for global alignment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 2 years in a role focused on commercial marketing or sales analytics
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is essential.
  • Experience with reservation systems and a background in the cruise or broader travel/hospitality industry is preferred
  • Demonstrates strong analytical abilities, capable of interpreting complex data and presenting clear, actionable insights.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills to manage productivity across different time zones.
