Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update Manufacturing Instructions.
  • Design, commission, and validate tooling.
  • Assist in industrial validation processes, utilising tools like FMEA's and FAI's.
  • Resolve technical issues encountered during manufacturing.
  • Implement route card changes for rework activities.
  • Manage Configuration Control by incorporating Design Modifications into Manufacturing Instructions.
  • Provide support for the Non-Conformance Process using SAP.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21.
  • Possession of a formal further education certificate equivalent to an HNC.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an engineering discipline.
  • Ability to interpret Design Drawings to create Manufacturing Build Instructions for Skilled and Semi-Skilled operators.
  • Experience in Electronic Sub Assembly manufacturing up to System level builds.
  • Familiarity with assembly processes for small/miniature Electro-Mechanical Actuation Systems.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Ability to understand and meet customer requirements.
  • Proficiency in Company Processes and Procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills at various organisational levels.
  • Training in manual handling and ESD.

Skill-set/Experience:

Apprenticeship completion is mandatory
