Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Quantity Surveyor with expertise in all aspects of quantity surveying for highway resurfacing projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success and efficiency of our projects through meticulous cost management and contract administration.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed cost analysis and preparing estimates for highway resurfacing projects.
- Collaborating with project managers to develop budgetary requirements and cost plans.
- Managing tender processes and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitoring project costs, variations, and valuations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Providing timely and accurate financial reports to senior management.
- Evaluating and negotiating contractual agreements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying for highway resurfacing projects.
- Thorough knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, QS software).
