A bout the role

We are seeking a dynamic, results driven strategist capable of shaping, leading, and realising transformative change - linked to business and commercial strategy, growth and success - and in a values-led organisation. You will be able to handle and prioritise a diverse portfolio of responsibilities in a challenging and complex environment.

A member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) you will work closely with the Chief Executive and other members of the ELT and play a pivotal role in shaping, enhancing and executing growth strategies including customer focussed lean improvements, strategic engagement and brand presence. The role is considered critical to achievement of numerous college group objectives which will define the college in 2030.

You will work closely with the Chief Executive to strategically manage transformative change projects. This will require you to horizon scan, ensure the leadership team is abreast of key national and regional insights and play a key changemaking leadership role within the organisation. To achieve this you will create a new function that will support strategy execution in specific business critical areas, enable organisational advancement and help us build a vibrant and exciting environment that energises, responds and creates new futures.

About the Candidate

As a fluent, client facing leader you'll also work closely with cross-functional teams to lead the creation and delivery of strategy, as well as external stakeholders to support ecosystems leadership and transformation.

You will also lead a team who will need to remain at the forefront of marketing, recruitment, digital strategies, market research, and web development. This team will lead multi-channel campaigns to increase visibility, brand awareness, and engagement across our colleges. Your team's innovative approaches will lead to financial and reputational growth arising from the creation of impactful marketing materials and publications, both digital and print, that resonate with prospective students and stakeholders.
