Mechanical Assembly and Repair Technician

Our client are a specialist and niche Manufacturing firm who supply their bespoke products all across the world to various sectors including Electronics, Healthcare, Automotive, Fashion, Pharma, Aerospace and Industrial. The business have undergone significant growth the last few years and boast an impressive factory and excellent work culture. Due to an upcoming retirement the business are looking to recruit a Mechanical Assembly and Repair Technician. The company can offer huge job satisfaction and technical stimulation whilst also promoting ongoing training and longer term career development.

Mechanical Assembly and Repair Key Duties :

  • Mechanical Build – Stripping and cleaning returned systems after analysis.
  • Control of Stock – Managing stock, materials, and sub-assemblies to ensure that units are stored and rebuilt with the
  • relevant options fitted.
  • Product Re-Assembly – Rebuilding systems in various states using either repaired or new components.
  • Product Upgrades – Applying relevant modifications to ensure that repaired products conform as near as possible to
  • the same standards as a new build.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Mechanical Assembly or repair is the essential skill required for this role; previous assembly experience will be required.
  • Ability to read drawings and follow set processes and procedures
  • You should have a strong team focus, and a pro-active approach, striving to meet changeable demands.
  • Attention to detail is critical
