Weaver Vale Housing Trust are currently are looking for a Finance Manager with significant social housing experience to join their busy team, and are partnering with Castlefield to support this key appointment.
The Finance Manager will work as part of the wider Leadership Team and provide financial advice and support to the Trust, delivering a comprehensive financial accounting and treasury service. This role operates on a hybrid basis with approx. 1 day per week in the Northwich office (free on-site parking).
Responsibilities include;
- Monitoring loan covenant compliance and Trust Golden Rules in management accounts, financial statements and business plans.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with banks and funders, to enable effective management of the Trust's treasury management function.
- Reviewing loan portfolio and covenant suite to ensure it supports the Treasury aims of the Trust
- Cash flow, balance sheet, treasury planning, forecasting, reporting and covenant compliance for the Trust's 30-year Business Plan
- Coordination and quality assurance of regulatory returns for the Finance Team
- Management and leadership of the Trust's Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
The successful candidate;
- CCAB/CIMA qualified Finance professional with evidence of continuing personal development
- Proven business partnering approach with a track record of developing influential working relationships at strategic level
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage high performing Finance teams
