Tradewind Recruitment, in partnership with top secondary schools across Birmingham, is seeking passionate and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teachers for the academic year. **About the Role:

We are looking for inspiring RE Teachers who can deliver engaging and thoughtful lessons that encourage students to explore a wide range of religious beliefs and ethical questions. You will be responsible for planning and teaching Religious Education to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5, helping them develop critical thinking skills and a broader understanding of the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality RE lessons that cover a diverse range of religious beliefs and philosophical ideas.
  • Encourage students to engage in discussions on moral, ethical, and cultural issues.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development.
  • Create a classroom environment that is inclusive, respectful, and supportive of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the curriculum is engaging and relevant to students' lives.

**Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential, with a specialism in Religious Education or a related field.
  • Relevant Experience: Experience teaching RE at the secondary level is required.
  • DBS Check: A valid DBS check on the update service is required or a willingness to obtain one before starting.
  • Passion for Religious Education: A deep understanding of religious studies and an ability to engage students in exploring complex and diverse topics.
